Sorry for English - but can this be connected with the voltage of 12V battery? The nights are colder, the 12V battery charge goes down, under certain level an error comes, as drive computers react to voltage drop. But it also starts charging as soon as the car wakes up (e.g., climate control needs big battery - but when big battery is connected, it also starts charging the 12V battery) - therefore after 10 minutes (you can actually hear when the big battery is disconnected) it has enough voltage to clear the error.
To indicate this as a 12V battery problem, the following should be true - the car wasn't charged during the night, the night was cold, no pre-heating was used. Maybe even that the car wasn't driven for more than two days?
Also, the 12V battery is quite small and in principle it is not really heated by the engine (like with most gasoline engine cars) - so, when it is cold, it is not really accepting charge or does it so really slow. With short trips, it is not able to charge as needed.
Before J01 I had a car where the battery was in the trunk. Basically, as I mostly drove short trips, the battery started have starting errors within 2 years - because short trips don't charge a cold battery during the (Estonian) winter (usual winters have the temperature somewhere 0 to -5 C degrees, sometimes colder).
